Job: PATIENT ACCT COLLECTION REP-CBO

FULL-TIME ? MONDAY ? FRIDAY ? 8:00AM ? 4:30PM - WEEKENDS - AS NEEDED

High school graduation or equivalent. Two years of related experience. Collects on Medicaid/Medicare claims; must be knowledgeable in hospital collections (denials, rejections), Medicare secondary follow-up, have ability to handle high volume work load and type 35+ words per minute. Ensure claims are billed/collected compliantly in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Analyze reimbursement methodologies, ensure compliance issues are adhered to in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Collects receivables for patient care services, identifies processes and authorizes refunds, write-offs, discounts, settlements and the adjudication of tax fund disbursements in order to ensure an adequate and constant cash flow. Support the financial viability of Broward Health.
