Report to the CEO

- You will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the Bank has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
- The COO plans, organizes, and controls all the day-to-day activities of the Bank.
- Collaborates with the President/Chief Executive Officer in the overall administration of the Bank.
- Responsible for the management of a portion of the Bank's activities to ensure maximum profits commensurate with the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public.
- Oversee branch operations, business development resources, and other functions as designated.
- Develop and implement strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs.
- Provides a high level of customer relations and service; and ensures compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
- The position of the COO assists in attaining established Bank operational and financial goals.
- Performs supervisory duties of department staff, coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.

Skills / Requirements

- A minimum of 20 years professional experience in Banking with extensive experience in Operations, Retail Banking and IT.
- At least 5 years of experience in an executive level position required.
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree with a concentration in business, finance or IT related field.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)is preferred, but not required.
