Sales Associate - Calligraphy

This position is responsible for generating revenue by conducting sales transactions with guests in merchandise locations using calligraphy and freelance art design to personalize merchandise in the venue. Individuals are responsible for upholding Universal Orlando’s guest/customer service standards, interacting positively with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, and maintaining their respective service area including the replenishment of supplies, restocking merchandise and general housekeeping duties.

Qualified candidates must:

Use calligraphy and freelance art design to personalize merchandise and provide an interactive guest experience through suggestive sales techniques and product demonstrations in a positive and outgoing manner.

Process merchandise sales and returns using cash register; Wrap and bag merchandise; Handle cash, credit card transactions, travelers’ checks and discounts.

Arrange shipping and delivery of merchandise.

Have basic computer skills and be able to perform data entry accurately.

Be comfortable working outdoors.

Experience
Six months to one year art design, six months to one year retail experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
