At Suncoast Hospice, the Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacists in all aspects of medication preparation for delivery to Hospice patients and to assist in all operational aspects of the pharmacy.

Core pharmacy services are provided Monday through Friday (8am - 8pm), Saturday (9am - 7pm) & Sunday (11am - 5pm). Successful candidates must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.

1. High School graduate or GED required.
2. Must either be a graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program through a PTCB approved school, possess 2-5 years of experience in Hospital, Home Health Care or Long Term Care Pharmacy or be a PTCB certified pharmacy technician.
3. Basic computer skills including use of Windows operating system and word processors.
4. Ability to organize & prioritize work.
5. Light lifting is required.
6. Must register with the state of Florida by December 31, 2009.
