Job: Linen Controller

Location: Miami Beach, FL
Description

Basic Job Function:
Responsible for the organization, cleanliness and maintenance of the linen supply. Ensure that incoming linen is equal to the amount of outgoing soiled linen.

Minimum Requirements: *Minimum one year experience in laundry in luxury hotel or similar experience.
*Ability to lift 10 to 20 lbs.
*Basic math skills
*Able to read and understand instructions, safety rules, etc.
*Able to speak and understand basic English.
Tasks/Responsibilities: *Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
*Ensure that guest laundry and dry cleaning items are handled by staff in accordance with hotel procedures.&
*Weigh outgoing soiled linen and incoming clean linen and maintain accurate record of these measurements.
*Restock shelves with Housekeeping supplies as necessary.
*Ensure the housekeeping cleaning rags and mop heads are cleaned daily.
*Provide emergency laundry and pressing services to guests.
*Keep and maintain accurate records for staff uniforms to ensure all staff have their correct uniform at all times.
*In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
