FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE was founded in 1982 and currently owns and operates eight campuses located in Miami, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Lauderdale Lakes, West Palm Beach, Clearwater, Brandon and Jacksonville, FL. FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE offers Diploma, Associate and Bachelor programs and specializes in Healthcare (Allied Health), Wellness Programs (Skin Care and Massage Therapy), Business and Information Technology.

Job Purpose

Promotes and nurtures the education of students by planning and tailoring courses of
study according to curriculum guidelines and state requirements; monitors, assists with, and
corrects academic efforts; provides a safe environment conducive to learning.

Presents lesson plans by using a variety of techniques, including lectures, projects,
exhibits, field trips, audiovisual and library resources, computers, and the Internet.

Monitors, assists, corrects, and grades student results by preparing assignments and tests for in-school preparation and homework; conducting standardized tests in accordance with college policies and state law.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 semester credits in English at Master's level required.

Experience as an English teacher preferred.

High School Diploma required.

Master's Degree required.

Teaching experience preferred.

LOCAL APPLICANTS preferred.

Available full time day or evening.

Minimum of 18 semester credits in English/Communications at Master's level required.

Microsoft Office experience in (Powerpint, Word, and Ecel) required
