Jobing Description
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to increase sales/revenues for the company. Develop sales and marketing strategies. Provide public relations to customers and promotes customer service retention. This position reports to the President.

SUMMARY:
  • Must be familiar with Vacuum Truck services and oily waste
  • Industrial cleaning using Vacuum Trucks
  • Analytical and chemical knowledge
  • Hazardous waste profiling waste disposal
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding used oil collection
  • Motivational self starter, work independently
  • Computer literate
  • 2 year degree
  • 5 year cold calling (sales) experience
  • Make sales calls to high profile customers and prospects
  • Assist and coordinates with Customer Service and Transportation departments
  • Experience in waste, sampling and collections. Working knowledge of waste manifesting, labels, waste profiling, analytical and related documents.
  • Preparations of contracts, bids, cost reporting.

  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
  • Cold calling (sales) outside to automotive, industrial, commercial, municipal utilities, petroleum industry.

  • Skills / Requirements
    Special Technical Knowledge:
    Knowledge and familiarity with regulations of the EPA, FDEP, OSHA, DOT, UST, and Hazardous Waste.

    Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Education/Experience:
    Two year degree

    Language Ability:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    Math Ability:
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability:
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:
    Computer literate in Windows based applications, (Microsoft Office). Technical and report writing, cost estimating, bid preparations.

    Certificates and Licenses:
    40 Hour Hazwoper Certification, Emergency Responder.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Excellent organizational and communicational skills. Time management skills.
