HR Analyst
Kaplan Division: Kaplan Higher Education City: Fort Lauderdale State/Province: Florida Position Type Full Time Job Level: Mid-Level Job Description The KHE HR Analyst, completes detailed studies utilizing various analytical techniques, systems, and principles. Creates projects and process flow studies in HR/Recruitment that are designed to improve work methods, staffing levels, employee utilization, quality control, and planning. Applies advanced knowledge and skills to redesign efforts of a medium to complex nature and is responsible for finalizing projects. Primary Responsibilities: -Analyzes HR data, from a variety of sources, to provide a picture of the organizational people resources, presents the data in a user friendly format allowing the organization to make business decisions. This entails managing HR metrics reporting and dashboard creation and reporting. -Conducts research for HR metrics best practice models and benchmarking. Conducts data collection to measure baseline versus improvements after recommendations are implemented. -Develops detailed action plans with goals and target dates and obtain necessary approvals. -Creates and offers formal presentations of results, including measurement, to management. -Maintains ongoing communication and rapport with management regarding project activities. Partners with other HR professionals, as required, to gather information and develop recommendations for improvement. -May lead project planning benchmark efforts and report results and recommendations as appropriate. -Partners with HRIS team members, IT, and other analytics functions to improve the function's operations by leveraging resources and supporting learning. -Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, or related programs that focus on statistical and data analytics -Four to Seven years of experience in data analysis and problem solving -Six Sigma Certification preferred -Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite; PeopleSoft HRMS -Must be computer proficient and have the ability to think analytically and problem solve Ability to communicate complex issues into understandable messages Important Notes
