Job: Personal Injury Case Manager

Our growing firm is looking for positive, energetic, and committed personal injury case managers to provide superior client service while professionally handling case documentation. The position entails extensive telephone contact with clients and medical providers, as well as fellow team members and lawyers.

Litigation Case Manager/Assistant Case Manager responsibilities include:

Draft, prepare, and review documents including complaints, discovery responses, motions, correspondence;

Liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and other outside contacts;

Organize and maintain litigation files through the use of electronic filing system;

Scheduling and calendaring hearings, depositions, mediations, court deadlines, etc.

Assist in trial preparation and discovery practice including gathering and organizing exhibits, trial data, documents and other materials in response to subpoenas, discovery requests, interrogatories, etc.

Prelitigation Case Manager/Assistant Case Manager responsibilities include:

Communication with clients:

Obtaining accident reports, medical records, medical bills, and PIP logs;

Preparing medical record chronologies;

Preparing demand packages;

Preparing closing statements.

Qualifications:

Excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, attentive to detail, and interpersonal skills;

Work independently as well as part of a team following defined procedures;

Analytical and problem solving skills.
