Job: Change Management Project Manager, Senior

Job Summary:Manages the Information Resource Department (IRD) Change Management process and provides leadership for the change management process for the District’s users in order to reduce the impact of change on business operations. Oversees changes through the change lifecycle and helps drive the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) change management process to maturity. Ensures the efficient processing of all IT changes by managing timelines, conducting impact analyses, and developing communication, training and measurement plans of the Districts IT change initiatives. Assesses change requests, chairs and facilitates Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Authorization Board (ECAB) meetings and/or processes, assure compliance with the approved process, and interact with other Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes. Supports activities, policies, standards and reporting in collaboration with departments’ leadership to improve overall stability, reliability and quality of information systems and its infrastructure. Participates in District emergency management activities and other departmental activities and performs other duties as needed.

BS/BA in relevant Computer, Science, or Engineering discipline or equivalent. Six years IT experience preferred with three to four years’ demonstrated management, leadership, and process management experience. Two plus years with Rational Unified Process (RUP) or equivalent industry standard methodology (SDLC) preferred. One to two years of incident, problem or change workflow automation tool experience preferred. Current ITIL certification preferred
