Discover the Memorial experience and join a group of extraordinary professionals in the Laboratory. The Manager will plan, coordinate and administer laboratory policies and procedures in the Pathology/Histology departments of the Laboratory. This position will also be responsible for the supervision of all dictation, transcription and distribution of surgical pathology tissue, cytology and autopsy reports on a timely basis. As such, candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer focused, highly motivated and well organized.
Skills / Requirements
The selected candidate must have a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Histology Supervisor license (ASCP). The position requires at least 5 years supervisory experience and a minimum of 8 years experience working in a Histology Department with complete knowledge of histology technology and theory and practice. The candidate must be proficient with computers and pathology laboratory information applications.
