6 North, Surgical IMCU/Telemetry Unit - Full Time Monitor Technician

The Monitor Technician demonstrates skills in arrhythmia detection by identifying and documenting cardiac rhythm of emergency patients. Analyzes rhythm characteristics and alerts Registered Nurse and Physician for possible change when receiving anti-arrhythmic therapy and maintains medical records with compliance of patient care standards.
Skills / Requirements
We seek applicants that demonstrate excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED, Basic Life Support (BLS) and completion or eligibility of a Basic Arrhythmia course.
