Broward General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale's largest healthcare facility.
Full Time Eligible 80 Hours per pay period. 7am-3:30pm.Every other weekend. High School graduation or equivalent. Working knowledge of Patient Registration or Patient Accounting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Performs registration and pre-registration functions for in-patients, out-patients, and emergency departments patients in order to ensure the integrity of the financial data gathered, customer satisfaction and to support quality patient care. Collects monies due, verifies insurance and performs financial screening to support positive collections and optimal reimbursements. Crosstrains as required for other patient access areas.
