Broward General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale's largest healthcare facility.
Pool Position will work as needed. Varied Days or Hours. High school graduate or equivalent. Current Florida CNA license or completion of an accredited vocational school PCA/PCT program and experience in EKG and phlebotomy required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. Must have previous experience working in Ambulatory care, ER or Cancer Infusion Centers. Must have experience performing EKG and Phlebotomy. Must have experience doing vital signs and ADL's. Under the direction of a RN the Patient Care Associate provides patient focused non-licensed clinical care, such as phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc., to facilitate quality service outcomes.
