Outpatient Behavioral Health - Physician SR
Discover the Memorial experience and join a group of extraordinary professionals in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Department. The staff relief Physician's primary function is to perform patient care duties, including psychiatric evaluation and medication management. The Physician coordinates the care of adult and geriatric patients, maintains effective liaisons with referring physicians and implements methods to ensure safety and quality of care. In conjunction with the other psychiatrists and advanced registered nurse practitioners, the Physician works within an interdisciplinary team to maximize the effectiveness of a coordinated and integrated program. The physician covers for the Medical Director in her absence.
Skills / Requirements
The qualified candidate must be a licensed Psychiatrist, Board Certified or Eligible. Must have experience with psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.
