Jobing Description

This position is responsible for the operation of the Learning Resource Center at night and on Sundays to ensure all services are provided to students, faculty and staff. Performs related work as directed.

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for some positions.
All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

Minimum Experience/Training: Typically over three years general business or functional experience within the field, with two years supervisory or lead experience required. Ability to tutor Beginning Math up to College Algebra.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to communicate efficiently. Ability to resolve conflicts. Proficiency with computers, including academic software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Models inclusive excellence through specific actions that support the College's diversity goals in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of talented and diverse staff.

* Fully proficient in professional and functional standards and protocols

* General understanding of College structure, policies and practices, and the impact on own area

* Ability to exchange information and collaborate with colleagues and peers within the College

* Ability to negotiate and reach mutual points of agreement and benefit among peers and colleagues

* Ability to manage own work and work of others to unit performance standards for cost, quality, and output (e.g., demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills, ability to set priorities for self and others, schedule work activities, allocate resources and provide appropriate feedback

* Advanced level of technical skills for functional area required.
