Aerojet Rocketdyne Coleman Aerospace is seeking a Project Scheduler/Master Planner for its Orlando, FL location.
In this role, you will work closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in creating, managing and analyzing project schedules and associated performance metrics.
This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
Working under general supervision:
50% - Responsible for program planning and scheduling, as well as schedule tracking, analysis, maintenance and reporting.
10% - Interface with Control Account Managers, customer, subcontractors, project managers, contracts, senior technical personnel, and senior management to track and report schedule progress.
10% - Work with Program Management staff to develop the program Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as required by contract.
10% - Creation of detailed program schedules on assigned program(s); identify and monitor the Program Critical Path, and maintain Earned Value metrics for the Program Schedule.
10% - Assist in the development and analysis of schedules for proposals.
10% - Work with Program Management staff to ensure cost/schedule integration is maintained per industry standards.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
- Extensive MS Project and Milestone Pro knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and experience with SRA tools (e.g. Full Monte, Risk+).
- IMS critical path analysis and experience in supporting government program/project management ANSI 748 compliance requirements.
- Good presentation, communication, and training skills.
- EVMS trained with Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
