The Opportunity:
The SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer provides leadership and strategic direction to promote the development, implementation, evaluation and management of all Broward Health human resource services that are consistent with Broward Healthís mission, vision and strategic plan and compliant with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation requirements and Broward Health Human Resource policies and procedures. With the assistance of regional human resource directors, coordinate the development, implementation and administration of human resources services, programs and policies. Support adherence to BHís compliance and ethics program, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct. This position reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications:

Master's degree and ten (10) years of related experience is required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP is preferred.

Broward Health seeks candidates whose professional background reflects prior senior-level leadership at an enterprise level with multi-hospital system experience. The ideal candidate will have keen strategic insight and serve as a role model of the highest integrity and will have a proven ability to connect at all levels. Prior experience with a public board and working with organization that is subject to public scrutiny are highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the system Human Resources Executive over 4 hospitals and corporate functions inclusive of ambulatory services, providing leadership to the regional human resources teams by building, motivating and retaining a strong, results-oriented and respected HR organization
* Lead with agility to shift between strategy and execution while handling a high volume of projects; partner closely with senior leadership (corporate and regional) to drive cultural shifts needed to achieve top priorities; serve as a key liaison to address opportunities for greater efficiency and standardization that is consistent with Broward Health's mission, strategic and organizational objectives
* Lead core HR functions: Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, HRIS, HR Strategic Operations, Employee Relations, Compliance Management, Workers' Compensation and Employee Health; develop scalable systems across the system and implement technology that exceeds the needs of our employees
* Serve as an integrator and connector between employee partners and leaders, providing strategic advice on employee issues and HR needs
* Further Broward Health's diversity and inclusion philosophy, ensuring the organization builds on current and future community partnerships and initiatives

* Strong and demonstrated experience with leading with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability and automation to support long-term growth objectives
* Robust understanding of industry trends and best practices, as well as a deep understanding of compliance/regulatory requirements
* Capacity for solving complex, multi-faceted problems with simple, sophisticated and innovative solutions
* Ability to meet challenges with a positive tone and an eye for solutions
* Strong attention to detail with an ability to juggle multiple priories at once
* Exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear and concise to all audiences
