Job Description
The IT Program Manager manages IT enterprise system programs comprised of multiple, related system projects. Leads other project managers in a program capacity. Creates an overarching program plan based on the aggregation of business system projects. Oversees and drives the execution of the program plan, ensuring all individual project timelines and budgets are achieved. Communicates the progress of the program and its projects to leadership. Creates program roadmaps and strategy in coordination with stakeholders, IT management and leadership. Manages assigned individual projects and delivers rojects
on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Delivery - Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to develop concepts for strategic initiatives and develops those into detailed program/project plans. Creates project roadmaps and strategy for the overall program in coordination with stakeholders, IT management and leadership. Delivers program outcomes by coordinating and overseeing a series of interdependent IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals. Liaises with key business stakeholders and senior leadership to determine program priorities. Assesses and adjusts active projects at the program level based on business needs.

• Reporting and Monitoring - Creates and implements project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for basic to highly complex programs comprised of multiple projects. Generates reports and prepares presentations to senior leadership to highlight status, risks, issues and benefits throughout the program lifecycle. Performs ongoing review of program status; identifies possible risks and recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions at the project level as approved. Prepares detailed statements of work and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project or program aspects and adjusts accordingly.

• Resource Management - Provides input into the selection of project managers for the projects within the program. Oversees the performance of the projects within the program by providing instruction and guidance to the project managers. Manages costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project or program deliverables. Ensures schedule and budget are met and revises as necessary. Ensures program(s) and are staffed with the appropriate information technology, stakeholder and vendor resources. Effectively manage resource plans to balance workload on the program. Works in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the project or program. Provides input on possible changes needed based on current status.

• Staff Management - Manages staff, evaluates performance, mentors and plans career paths, approves paid time off (PTO) and training, ensures human resources (HR) policies are followed and makes recommendation regarding staffing decisions.

• Performs other duties as required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Experience: 10 years of related experience.

Skills and Abilities
• Strong ability to lead teams.
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to support changing priorities.
• Proven ability to manage staff.
• Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with varying levels of staff, including senior management and vendors.
• Maintains PMP Certification.
• Expert knowledge of PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and practices as well as the ability to adapt and comply with the firm’s approved project
• management standards and practices.
• Expert experience managing projects and programs, specifically ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Net Suite etc.), including a strong technical understanding of accounts payable/receivable, GL, tax, and procurement, with demonstrated experience in implementing these systems.
• Expert knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to gather and document business and systems requirements, context diagrams, data flow diagrams, workflows, and governance etc.
• Ability to develop and oversee project schedules and scope budget of IT projects.
• Expert knowledge of IT Project Management best practices.
