Position Description

Position Purpose

This role is to provide value-add analytical support to the technical services management leadership in finding additional opportunities to be implemented globally. The expectation is that the candidate would use their education, experience and analytical capabilities to find equipment and process improvements in CHEP pallet service centers. Employment term is 6 months.

Major/Key Accountabilities

Define a repeatable data analysis approach to find the top 5 sort line MTBF improvement opportunities. The expectation is to use Factory Management System downtime detail and visual observation to drive the approach.

Create and maintain an opportunity log and work to gain approval for equipment and/or process changes.
Documentation of the opportunity process for replication globally.
Achieve initiative targets of 15% sustainable throughput improvement by improving MTBF in the Orlando SC.
Communicate current status and progress in weekly format.
Other project work related to machine learning and Factory Management Systems

Qualifications

4 year degree in a relevant business discipline e.g. engineering, industrial engineering, operations or supply chain management.

Good verbal and written communication skills
Good presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to drive projects to deliver target
Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements
Must be highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills
Self-starter: Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Experience

5 plus years experience in managing a quality or analytical team supporting production, operations or supply chain activities

Proficiency in Microsoft applications – Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Word
Preferred experience in Operations and Project Management
