Position Description

As part of the Sales and Service team, your role will be to drive key relationships within a portfolio of major customers, focusing on retention and growth. This is a critical role with high level exposure internally and could potentially be a great platform for rapid career growth at CHEP. This role will be based out of our Derrimut office, and reports directly to the Director, Containers.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Managing the revenue budget for a portfolio of high revenue and volume customers

Leading senior negotiations of major multi-million dollar contracts
Developing and driving strategic relationships within the customer portfolio
Driving account management planning and execution
Leading new business growth beyond core platforms within the customer base
Working with key internal stakeholders on key strategic growth projects

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field

Significant experience in managing large accounts
Experience in leading high level negotiations with senior customers
An understanding of Supply Chain processes would be highly regarded
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A solid level of financial and commercial acumen
