Job Description
As a Patient Care Specialist II, you will schedule patient’s deliveries and address all patient needs in one phone call resolution. Furthermore, you will assist patients on Specialty prescription medications understand their benefits and financial responsibilities through superior customer service, while guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements. Some other critical components of this role include arrange for funding programs, complete and initiate prior authorizations, enroll patients in Free Drug Programs, ensure follow-ups are initiated so patient’s therapy is not disrupted, and process primary and secondary insurance claims. Also you will serve as subject matter experts as needed and you will ensure the highest quality of care is provided and is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and established departmental policies and procedures.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

Advanced Care Scripts (ACS), a CVS Health Company, manages and dispenses specialty medications and products nationwide. Our comprehensive patient care model provides compliance and adherence support and cost-effective solutions for all classes of specialty medications.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in customer service, customer care or related field
- Six months or more of experience working in either Microsoft Excel, Outlook, or Word
- Six or more months experience working with co-pay assistance programs or prior authorizations

Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare Insurance knowledge
- Call center experience
- CPR+ experience
- Pharmacy experience

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
