The Vice President, Marketing will help lead all aspects of product marketing with a focus on health supplements and lifestyle products, including strategy, budget, planning, operations, and execution.  The role will help determine the go-to-market strategy and partner with the leadership team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to support customer acquisition and retention.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and strategy for product development
  • Identify, interpret, and capitalize on market trends
  • Develop marketing strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to acquire and retain customers
  • Provide leadership in the execution of development of marketing programs
  • Provide leadership and support for the design, development, and implementation of products
  • Oversee and direct market research, competitor analysis, and customer service and retention processes and initiatives for all products across all channels; present analytics and recommendations to the executive team
  • Manage customer-facing forums which include media and digital business
  • Provide leadership and/or support the design, development, and implementation of products and services
  • Ensure all marketing communications are designed for customer acquisition and retention
  • Build, develop, and manage team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field required
  • Master of Business Administration a plus
  • 10 years of experience in marketing, at least 3 years in a senior leadership position
  • Experience in the dietary supplement industry preferred
  • Direct to consumer marketing

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing duties of the job, the incumbent is occasionally required to:

  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-town travel up to 50% is possible
  • Operate in a professional office environment
  • Constantly use work-related equipment
  • To use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • To sit for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day)
  • To lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. 
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands
