Position Title: Cook
**Position is part time - 30 hours per week**
Overview: The Cook is responsible for coordination and smooth operation of Hospice Care Center kitchen, including ordering and food preparation, cooking, clean up and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. This position ensures policies and procedures are followed in regard to Agency, OSHA and Health Department regulations. They also oversee and directly participate in providing quality meals meeting patient's dietary requirements and maintain clean kitchen and dining areas. The cook purchases food and supplies and completes inventory management. May require work in early mornings, late evenings and weekends as necessary. • High School or GED equivalent required. Food Manager Certification required.
• One (1) to Two (2) years of commercial food preparation experience desired.
