Objective / Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating development and production activities of the computerized management information systems department by performing duties personally or though IT team. This incumbent is responsible for technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance of corporate and hotel systems. They are to provide inspiring and strategic leadership, while directing the activities of the Information Technology Department in support of themission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.

Areas of Responsibility/ Tasks

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

* Directs the work of hotel and/or corporate IT personnel.

* Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.

* Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.

* Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.

* Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.

* Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.

* Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.

* Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.

* Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.

* Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.

* Provides leadership, direction, and performance management for direct reports.

Knowledge/ Skills / Abilities (KSA)

To performthis role successfully, an individualmust have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skill, and abilities required of a successful incumbent within our culture.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Design software; Development software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order Processing systems; Payroll systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

MinimumQualifications

Education, License, Certifications, Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business or related training equivalent - required

* 5+ years of relevantwork experience in similar scope and title - required

* Certified Hospitality Technology Professional - preferred

* Experience within luxury brand/markets - preferred

* Experience with multi-property hotel companies - preferred

* Extensive experience with regulatory compliance including PCI-DSS - required

* Extensive experience with ERP systems and integrations - required

Work Environment/Conditions

The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbentmay experience.

* Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office.

* Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism& collaboration.

* Schedulesmay vary fromweek to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
