Claim Adjuster, F/T (Coral Springs, FL) Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims rltd to family homes. Inspect damaged residential properties, assess the cause & extent of damage, & gather relevant info. Evaluate & estimate repair or replacement costs for damages to family homes. Collaborate w/ contractors, appraisers, & other experts to assess property damage accurately. Interpret homeowners' insurance policies to determine coverage & liability for specific claims. Communicate policy details, coverage limits, & exclusions to homeowners. Communicate effectively w/ homeowners, addressing their concerns & explaining the claims process. Provide clear & empathetic guidance throughout the claims process. Respond promptly to inquiries & keep homeowners informed about the status of their claims. Negotiate w/ homeowners & contractors to reach fair & equitable settlements. Obtain necessary approvals for settlement amounts w/in established authority limits. Prep detailed reports documenting investigation findings, damage assessments, & settlement recommendations. Collaborate w/ other prof'ls, such as legal counsel or specialists in specific types of damage, to ensure accurate assessments. Ensure compliance w/ homeowners' insurance regs, Co. policies, & industry stds. Stay informed about changes in insurance laws & regs rltd to residential properties. Bachelor's deg in Bus Admin, Finance, Acctg, Engg, or closely rltd + 24 mos of exp as a claim adjuster, administrator, accountant, or closely rltd. At the time of hiring, the candidate must have a valid FL 620 All Line Adjuster License.
