Job Description
Field Inspector (Pembroke Pines, FL) to inspect new & existing residential & commercial buildings during various stages of construction & remodeling under the spvsn of licensed PE to ensure adherence to FL building code, safety standards, local laws, and ordinances. Evaluate various building elements. Review quality of installation & workmanship of various components & systems to ensure compliance w/approved permit docum. Prep detailed inspectn reports documenting observations, deficiencies, & compliance status. Prep reports, track project progress & maint accurate records. Adhere to strict internal guidelines, including procedures, mandatory guides, & best practices. Bach of Science deg or for equiv in Civil Engg or rel field, 2 yrs. exp. in the construction and remodeling of residential and commercial projects. Exp. w/AutoCAD, (2D & 3D) & SAP2000 structural analysis s/w to support design & preparation of repair protocols for structural systems including steel, concrete, wood to review construction details & generate inspection docum. Exp. using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prep reports, track project progress, & maint accurate records. Knowl of FBC, ACI standards, ADM reqmts.
