Job Description
Locker Engineer (Orlando, FL) for Traka USA, LLC to provide techn'l subject matter expertise, solution engg & hands-on dsgn work w/in the existing range of Traka intelligent locker products, delivering innovative solutions to real-world problems. Reqs Bachelor’s deg in Mechanical Engg or rltd field of study, & 5 yrs of exp in mechanical engg specifically for lockers. Will accept 7 yrs of exp in lieu of Bachelor’s deg & 5 yrs of exp. Reqs 5 yrs of exp w/ each of the following (or 7 yrs if the candidate does not have a Bachelor’s deg): dsgng & dvlpg mechanical systems; determining project reqmt, research target audiences, usage of product & functionality; using Autodesk Inventor & Vault s/ware to create, test & improve product dsgns; mfg process, supply chain & interaction w/ operations teams; evaluating production costs & strategizing the most cost effective means of productions, while maintaining product effectiveness & reliability; evaluating product in terms of appearance, performance, functionality, durability & safety; producing techn'l written work instructions & procedures; product mfg & assembly processes & procedures; product concept drawing, prototyping, testing & validating dsgns. Reqs 3 yrs of exp w/ Autodesk Inventor product dsgn automation & configuration tools using iLogic. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week. Reqs up to 10% domestic travel.
