Manager, Entertainment Technical AV

Manager, Entertainment Technical AV, Carnival Corporation (Miami, FL). Responsible for providing direction and leadership for the Video Broadcast Department in support of the overall entertainment department. Manage and develop the fleet’s Broadcast Technicians. Accountable for developing a strategy for training, safety, operation and maintenance of all Video Production, Ship-wide TV Broadcast Distribution Systems, TV Satellite Systems, Digital Signage and Local Entertainment Systems. This includes coordination with vendors and contractors, ordering materials, site inspections, broadcast budget creation and management and training the shipboard staff. Schedule fleet supervisors visits as required. Work closely with Casting and Booking to determine best candidate for open positions. Responsible for approving related equipment. 

Requirements: Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or managing Marine TV Satellite systems and large A/V or Broadcast Operations teams. Proficiency in at least one video editing software. Experience with Digital Signage Platforms. Experience with Microsoft’s Software Suite, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint Designer. Must be able to read technical drawings and flow charts. 25% to 50% of shipboard travel required.
