Job Description

This position is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the program staff; and assisting clients who need resources and/or referrals to various program and/or agency services. Supports daily activities of the program: correspondence, faxing, gather incoming and outgoing mail, and prioritize task assignments from staff, Supervisors, and Director. Manages program-filing system which includes archiving, assistance with auditing and weekly maintenance of file room. Serves as a member of the KID support team by providing relief to the main switchboard and front desk when needed. Other duties as assigned. This is a full time position: 40 hours/week.

Skill / Requirements

Must have a High-School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years secretarial experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Must be able to work flexible and evening hours if needed. Administrative/secretarial coursework preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have proven typing, organizational and computer skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication. Must have a Valid Florida Driver’s License with full-time access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage (proof of insurance is required.)

Classification: Non-Exempt     Salary: $ 12/hour
