Description: The Trainer position is responsible for researching, developing and facilitating various training programs for YFA employees in electronic and classroom format. This position drives organizational training initiatives and supports training methods that improve individual and organizational performance. Areas of focus for this position will be supervisory training, leadership development, employee orientation & onboarding, employee engagement, ongoing skills training, and other training initiatives under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager and Vice President of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and will have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Suites. Knowledge of various HR and training databases preferred. Bachelor’s degree required in business, education, human resources, or related field; previous training experience preferred; 5+ years of progressive work experience; experience working in a human resources environment preferred but not required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
