Job Description
Candidate will be a member of a team of Technical Writers that provide a wide array of technical documentation written to Military Specifications. Primary responsibilities include developing change packages for US Air force Technical Orders (TOs) and US Army Technical Manuals (TMs).
Candidate must possess and understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing process plans and possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. Must be flexible with outstanding work ethic and possess the ability to respond quickly to company and client needs. Candidate must be willing to work overtime as required. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in English, Technical Writing or related degree. Entry Level.

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired skills
-Working knowledge of DoD specifications i.e. MIL-STD-40051 and MIL-STD-38784.
-Experience in HTML/SGML/XML editing software and Arbortext Editor.
-Experience with tracking status for multiple projects.
-Previous military experience or working in DoD industry.
Ability to interpret drawings, write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions.
-Ability to write technical content for maintenance technical manuals including installation, test, repair, and troubleshooting procedures.
