In this role the selected candidate will provide research to identify Electrical and/or Mechanical components and systems, for DMSMS issues. Provides knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for Military, commercial and industrial products. Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or other electrical components, as they relate to DMSMS activities. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met for DMSMS activities.

Basic Qualifications
The Candidate should possess knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical designs and the intended use of the parts in their assemblies, sub-assemblies, and systems. This position will require component level research and how they related to DMSMS issues. Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, etc.) and custom databases to track obsolescence as well as CAD tools to implement changes identified. Understand “Change Management” and how it relates to obsolete parts.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
