Job Description
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided. Performs tasks requiring extensive knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Is able to perform troubleshooting and repair of established design. Some computer literacy that will allow for building, remove and replacing, updating of drives. Minimal supervision. No instructions are needed on routine work, and only general instructions are given on new lines of work or special assignments. Minimum of a High School diploma, and equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 5 Years of experience. Usually works without established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. Conducts research and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment (ATE) or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out (ATP). Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others and lower level employees, may assign work and schedule work flow.MFCE&T

Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
• Experience in oral and written communication to present and to motivate
Ability to get a secret clearance

Desired skills
Experience with work tracking data base systems for job input
Experience with customer interface to help to develop prototype designs
