Job Description
The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for implementing the Human Capital strategy and related initiatives, ensuring operational excellence in support of the business needs for the Engineering & Technology(E&T) organization. This role will be the primary interface for the E&T Vice President & Deputy and will be responsible for driving all HR initiatives and processes across MFC E&T, for a population of approximately 5000 employees. He/she will also provide direct leadership to the Orlando based E&T HR team and will work in close partnership with the E&T HR team based in Dallas, Texas.

The HR team led by this position will perform all HR responsibilities for the function including, but are not limited to: Performance management, compensation planning, talent management, employee relations, coaching, workforce planning, HR metrics, training and development, and organizational development. This leader will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. These activities will be performed in partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence, ensuring a cohesive one HR team service delivery model.

The selected candidate will motivate and engage HR employees to perform productively in a team environment, set an example of ethical behavior, have excellent problem-solving skills and thrive in an environment of continual change. He/she will also demonstrate a strong capability to anticipate client needs and proactively identify solutions through partnering and collaboration with clients and the HR organization.

Candidates with demonstrated prior leadership, project management, business acumen skills, experience defining metrics and analytics and the ability to deliver effectively on the deployment and management of large scale, complex initiatives, will be successful in this role.

The selected individual must have the ability to act with courage, exhibit emotional intelligence and display executive presence while navigating through ambiguity and complex situations.

Basic Qualifications
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in varied HR assignments with 3 years of recent HR business partner experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent years of experience combined with education or formal training
•Demonstrated successful project management experience for large scale, complex activities that include use of data tools and data driven solutions.
•Demonstrated leadership, as well as coaching skills, required.
•Demonstrated experience leading a change initiative
•Demonstrated experience mentoring/developing HR professionals
•Employee Relations experience and demonstrated knowledge of HR Practices, Policies, and Laws
•Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills across all levels of the organization
•Demonstrated strong influencing, prioritization, and decision making/problem solving skills
•Demonstrated ability to build credibility with clients and peers
•Demonstrated ability to handle proprietary and confidential material appropriately
•Experience influencing outcomes, devising business recommendations and identifying tradeoffs
•Strong organizational and time-management skills and able to demonstrate successful management of multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
