The Product Development Manager is a cyber security entrepreneur that will utilize their software and systems skills to help grow Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s (MFC) engagement and partnership with Intel Corp to make more secure processing components. This role will also be responsible for exploring, identifying, developing, qualifying, and leading the capture of commercial and civil government new business initiatives supporting all of Lockheed Martin MFC lines of business.

This position is for a Cyber Security professional to help manage and lead engagements with Intel, Intel’s ecosystem partners, and end customers interested in more secure processing capabilities. This person will also be able to engage with internal LM development teams & customers considering purchasing Intel Security products containing LM IP. The candidate will be able understand embedded cyber security processing architectures and concepts as well as be able to brief these to executive management and customers. Daily activities include: engaging with the LM & Intel technical, business, and program teams, engagement with government and commercial end customers & users, writing proposals and white papers, drafting & editing Intel marketing material, project/product planning, team coordination planning, and support to the program director. The successful candidate will work effectively and be integrated with the LM program and technical teams. The candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization, both vertically and horizontally, and will develop effective working customer relationships with all customers. In this role you will get to demonstrate a strong ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions; leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in the development of customer cyber solutions.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or a related discipline from an Accredited College

• Strategic thinking – Understands “big picture” analysis both from the technological and business case perspectives for new Market Initiatives.

• Team player – Effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals to act as “one” in the pursuit of common new business objectives

• Ability to travel 20-25%

• US citizenship is required for this role

Desired skills
• Advanced Degree or significant experience with cyber processing, cyber software, and/or cyber systems.

• Specific cyber, BIOS or Microcode software, and processing system technical experience applied to Intel processors.

• Experience developing business cases and business plans

• Project management skills and/or experience

• Experience in product management

• Prefer experience developing opportunities from early concept/trend identification through qualification, deciding to bid, through proposal development and submittal.
