Lockheed Martin is seeking and RF Engineer for a position in Orlando, FL.

Duties include:
- Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry.
- Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
- Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
- Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
- In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
- Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications
BSEE, MSEE, PhD EE or BSPhys, MSPhys or PhD Physics

Must possess expertise in RF system architecture and design, RF circuits, antenna design, digital and analog signal processing, and system simulation

Must have expertise in RF system definition, requirements analysis, and requirement flow down to hardware and software

Must have an active Final Secret clearance with investigation in the last five years

Desired skills
Extensive experience in RF seekers
Experience with radome modeling, simulation and analysis
Experience with electronic warfare
Experience with CST and/or HFSS
Thorough understanding of antenna drain and performance
Thorough understanding of critical RF components and subsystems, current and evolving
Knowledge of critical RF subsystem suppliers
