We are currently seeking an Integration & Configuration Engineer. The Engineer role designs, architects, implements, and tests data integration solutions in and EDI Transaction workflow. The position is a member of a broader technical Integration team focusing on the delivery of inbound and outbound data integrations with LogistiCare clients as well as internal system to system integrations. The role will work closely with business owners and stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully defined and meet business needs. The role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to fully support the translation of requirements into technical deliverables utilizing a repeatable SDLC that ensures both quality and efficiency.


Position Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to evaluate and confirm business requirements
  • Assist in developing/validating source target mappings and transformation logic required to support information requirements
  • Create re-usable transformations and robust mappings
  • Optimize mappings for performance and implement complex business rules
  • Coordinate with BA, Operations, internal stakeholders and when appropriate external clients to ensure on-time quality delivery of integrations
  • Document best practices and guidelines for support teams
  • Develop test cases and test plans to complete the unit testing
  • Identify or gather Data Quality issues and implement remediation processes for both Data Quality Edits and Data Quality Analytics issues and risks
  • Prioritize and work multiple tasks across multiple projects
  • Provide input for project / work effort costing to include resource and HW/SW estimation
  • Mentor team members



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data, analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience


  • 3 - 5 years of experience in full life-cycle development of ETL workflows, data and systems integrations
  • Experience processing data including validation techniques, processing efficiencies, file processing (hierarchical, flat, delimited, etc.), and retrieving or populating data within a DBMS
  • Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with one or more mapping/ETL tools (e.g. RedPoint Data Management, Alteryx, Data Stage, Dataflux, Informatica, SSIS, Sterling Integrator) (Desired)
  • Experience with one or more traditional development languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java, VB .Net, Delphi) (Desired)


  • Must have experience with X12 EDI standards for Healthcare data (834, 837, etc.) and HIPAA
  • Must have experienced in writing SQL
  • Understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, metadata management
  • Experience with RedPoint Data Management (Desired)
  • Experience with Sterling Integrator (Desired)
