Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Call Center Patient Connection Triage Department in Fort Myers, FL. This department is made up of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) associates that answer multi-line phone systems while providing excellent response to all callers.

As an LPN in our call center, you work in an office setting and are responsible for answering multi-line phone systems. While you do not interact with patients in person, you are still involved in ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. Confidentiality is important to you and you make sure that patient care is delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently.


As you interact with patients on the phone, you provide triage and assistance. You create new patient cases and update existing patient information when necessary and communicate with the billing office for insurance changes. You document prescription requests, process medication refills, transfer calls, and provide patient direction for urgent symptoms described during STAT calls from our in-house Patient Connection team.  You will Triage and process messages from patients and operators to Physicians and Advanced Providers along with providing instructions to patients as instructed by the Physician or Advanced Provider.

  • Completed an LPN program/successful completion of NCLEX
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to type at minimum 35 WPM


A year of customer service experience within a call center or healthcare field is preferred but not required. Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude? The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
