Position Highlights:

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a junior clinical investigator in the Senior Adult Oncology Program (SAOP). The position involves clinical and translational research in Geriatric Oncology with mentorship from the senior faculty of a leading program in the field, management of cancer in older persons in the SAOP clinic, and teaching of oncology and medicine residents.

Responsibilities:

This position will design and conduct investigator-initiated trials targeting older cancer patients. A significant publishing activity is expected. This position will provide outpatient consultations in the SAOP clinic, inpatient rounding and medical oncology expertise in the field of geriatric oncology. Provide education and training to the University of South Florida fellows, residents, and students.

Credentials and Qualifications:

· MD or Equivalent

· Board certified (or eligible) in area of specialty

· Fellowship training in Medical Oncology / Hematology

· Florida Medical License

· Experience / training in geriatric oncology

· DEA License

· ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff Services
