Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Quality Engineering 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

Functionalhomeroom manager is responsible for Supplier Quality program execution,personnel, processes and infrastructure. This position represents SupplierQuality to program leadership and internal and external customers. Interfaceswith the program to ensure adequate proposals, staffing and support. RepresentsSupplier Quality on closed program activities. Establishes and implementsstrategies and tactics to drive affordability and long term improvement.Interact closely with Global Supply Chain a daily basis.
Responsiblefor management of a restricted program at the Aerospace Systems Sector. Directsand manages all cost, schedule and technical performance requirements that arelevied on the program and is required to ensure performance and support of thecontract milestones of the division. Responsible andaccountable for strategy, planning, and execution of all Supplier Qualityprocesses and activities. Perform as the communication andmanagement focal point to the program for the Supplier Quality organization.Lead Supplier Quality execution and accountable for labor estimates, resourceplanning, and assure identification of trends and actions to reduce suppliercaused defects. Responsible to manage to established metrics in accordance withGlobal Mission Assurance & Excellencerequirements and in consideration of Program objectives. Must be able toInterface and brief executive leadership and customers as required on issues,action plans, and requested content
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM major)with a Minimum of 9 years related aerospace, information technology, supplier management, engineering, or quality experience.
- Must have a proven track record of accomplishments within staff development, project management, program management, team development, or leadership
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- 3 years Functional Management Experience
- 5 years Quality experience
- Innovative thinker
- Ability to bring new perspective, make suggestions for process improvement
