Job Summary: Orion Management, LLC has an immediate need for highly motivated Low Voltage Helper in the Southeast Orlando area. The position will be responsible for learning the installation and troubleshooting of fire and life safety systems. This position will be responsible for assisting in the installation of raceways, wiring and equipment for fire alarms, security, closed circuit cameras, access control and other life safety systems, to include wiring of circuits and systems from 12 VDC to 480 VAC. Preferred but not required a minimum of one year of experience installing electrical raceways and wiring and a general working knowledge of Low voltage system installation methods. Must have basic hand tools of the trade. Qualified candidates must have strong troubleshooting abilities while ensuring all work is within published low voltage industry standards.
Skills & Requirements:
BASA/FASA (not required)
Valid drivers license & reliable transportation
5+ years working in the commercial industry
Willing to respond to emergency calls at any time
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints
Must be able to bend up to 1-1/2” conduit
Government issued clearance a plus (not required)
OSHA 30 Hour a plus (not required)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Must have basic hand tools of the trade
Pay Range: Pay based on your level of experience and past performance, some assignments pay prevailing wage
