About the Role
Perry Ellis is searching for Sales Associates who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from; ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of sales floor as well as maintaining the overall visual appearance of the store in order to achieve a high level of service and sales productivity.
•Welcome and greet customers in a friendly manner.
•Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles).
•Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to drive sales.
•Consistently productive throughout entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product,maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).
•Consistently reports to work on time.
•Demonstrates flexibility with his/her schedule.
•Works with a sense of urgency
•Exhibits professionalism during all interactions with customers, employees, and Managers.
•Consistently meets daily sales goals.
•Self motivated to drive and achieve sales
•Works cohesively with other staff members.
• E nergetic and positive attitude.
•Strong verbal and written skills
•Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
•Customer service oriented (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) on the sales floor
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds
