Clinical Psychologist: The incumbent in this position is responsible for conducting individual, group, and family therapies for the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Tribal Members. This may also include conducting detailed psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations, developing and implementing empirically validated treatments and interventions, involvement in program development, and participating in the multidisciplinary treatment team process. The individual intends to reduce the distress and improve the psychological wellbeing of Tribal Members. They use psychological methods and research to make positive changes to their clients' lives and offer various forms of treatment. Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) from a nationally accredited American Psychology Association (APA) program is required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and their families in issues related to the early intervention and provision of psychological services is required. Incumbent must be licensed as a clinical psychologist in the State of Florida. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Out of town travel and overnight assignments are required of the Center for Behavioral Health employees in order to meet the needs of the tribal communities or individual clients. Employee flexibility is expected in this regard. Must have the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
