The incumbent in this position reviews, updates, develops and administers formal contracts for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Planning & Development and Construction Management departments. The incumbent is involved with the full spectrum of contract related tasks, including, but not limited to negotiating and processing contracts and their modifications and assisting with resolution of contract disputes. The individual monitors performance of contractors in a systematic and proactive manner and reviews vendor contracts and applications to ensure compliance with STOF standards. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, supplemented by five (5) years of experience in preparing, negotiating and administering contracts for the acquisition of commercial goods, professional services and other contractual services is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience in a governmental or similar environment will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida driver's license is required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must be able to travel to all STOF Reservations and other locations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
