Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing customer service, technical support and assistance to the on-site operation of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's Audio Visual Technical Team, including the operation and maintenance of the in-house audio visual equipment assets. The individual provides creative technical audiovisual support for events and clients, delivering, installing, configuring, testing, operating, repairing and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance and complete customer satisfaction. The incumbent troubleshoots problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end-user training and assistance where required and is accountable for all audio visual inventory before, during and after each event. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate Degree in Audio Engineer, Digital Media, Broadcast Technology, Communications or related field or completion of studies in technical or vocational school is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of audiovisual technical experience preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction is required; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
