Job Description Summary

The Loan Consultant Manager is responsible for mentoring, coaching, training and overseeing the centralized Loan Consultants in the Maitland, Florida area to ensure the team is efficiently and accurately originating mortgage business while providing the best service and mortgage products for our customers. The manager must be detailed, organized, responsive, thorough and creative. All applicable State and Federal licensing requirements must be met.

We trust that as a Core LC Manager you will: (Responsibilities)

  • Ensure day to day activities adhere to all policies and procedures and are in the best interest of TMHF
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with division management, CORE and sales teams
  • Assure accuracy of self and team in all areas of compliance
  • Abide by, and train to, goals set by company regarding Success Rate, Customer Satisfaction and Pricing Structure
  • Provide and train to outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers, emphasis on full TMHF value
  • Work with core processing and underwriting teams on loan restructures and solutions
  • Train and coach the local Loan Consultants to work within product offerings and pricing structure to maintain company revenue expectations, working with Loan Consultant’s on rate negotiations and price exceptions
  • Report numbers as needed and/or required to management; Verify accuracy of monthly reporting
  • Ensure accuracy of self and team in all areas of compliance
  • Schedule and ensure LC’s are meeting responsibilities, perform quarterly reviews and goal setting with LC team
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Three (3-year minimum Training/Leadership role
  • Manage and maintain engagements of training team members
  • Stellar organization skills
  • Excellent work ethic, high productivity and acute attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication, follow up skills and a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing work assignments
  • Must possess a short learning curve related to integration of new skills and tasks

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Interviewing, hiring and training employees
  • Setting rates of pay and hours of work
  • Appraising productivity; handling employee grievances or complaints, or disciplining employees
  • Determining work techniques
  • Planning the work
  • Apportioning work among employees
  • Determining the types of equipment to be used in performing work, or materials needed
  • Planning budgets for work

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
