Position Details

Position Summary

Provide administrative support to the leader of a department.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables

Direct all incoming calls to the appropriate area/person.

Provide administrative support to functional area including typing, filing, organizing, photocopying.

Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date filing system.

Manage schedule/calendar of meetings and events.

Monitor, order, and stock supplies.

Coordinate all travel.

Input data and run departmental reports.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Education / Experience

High School diploma/GED required.

0 - 2 years Executive Assistant experience


Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.

Ability to organize and provide clerical functions such as typing, filing, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential.

Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of personal computer software applications including Word and Excel.


Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl 5% or less of the workday

Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday

Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday

Work Environment

Corporate office environment.
